Bio
Raechel Rivers, also known as “Dr. Rae”, is the CEO and Founder of Embrace Women's Foundation; a nonprofit organization which exists to assist women in the workforce with life transitions. She began her career in Higher Education 21 years ago serving in various roles from staff and student support to classroom trainer and instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organization Management and a Master of Education in Urban Education both from Langston University in Langston, OK. Additionally, Ms. Rivers holds an Educational Specialist degree, Ed.S., in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She is a St. Louis native with a passion for helping people learn to love themselves and discover their life’s purpose.
In 2011, Ms. Rivers self-published her first book Journey to Self: Journey to Love with the intent to teach about love and help women and young women heal from unhealthy relationships and dating situations. In 2013, she began designing and facilitating original workshops for the St. Louis Archdiocese Kujenga African American Catholic Youth Leadership Conference entitled, “The Importance of Self-Love” and “What Is My Life’s Purpose?”. Raechel has written for local newspapers such as the St. Louis American and the St. Louis Argus.
In addition, Ms. Rivers currently serves as the Director of STL Youth Jobs in St. Louis, MO. In 2015, Dr. Rae launched her company Embrace-U, LLC to continue her work as an educational consultant; and personal and social development coach for teens and young adults. Her company’s motto is “Embrace-U, A Lifestyle to Be You”. In October of 2015, she released her follow-up book Love Yourself, Love Your Life: The Self-Love Handbook as a teaching tool for workshops. Raechel believes we create the life that we desire through our gifts and talents.
